WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Nurses, Lactation Consultants, Nurse-Midwives, Nutritionists, Dietitians, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, WIC and PCM staff, Health Educators, Childbirth Educators, Peer Counselors, Doulas, and Community Breastfeeding Supporters.
EDUCATION CREDITS
Applications have been submitted to The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners for 6.0 L-CERPs and The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for 6.0 CPEUs. Gwinnett Health System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Alabama State Nurses Association. An application has been submitted to ASNA for approval of 6.0 contact hours.
LACTATION ROOM
A fully-equipped lactation room is available for any conference attendees to express milk for their babies. This room has hospital grade electric pumps, two private pumping stations, a sink, microwave and refrigerator to store expressed milk.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation requests received by September 20th will receive a full refund. Refunds will be processed one month following the close of the conference. No refund will be given for cancellations received after this. Substitutions or transferring registration to another colleague is acceptable.
