Inspection scores for public health regulated facilities in Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale Counties are available to the public.

GNR Public Health Environmental Health keeps the community healthy, protected, and prepared by ensuring public health regulated facilities are operating in accordance with all local, state, and federal health laws.

To ensure the health and wellness of our community, GNR Public Health inspects the following in Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale Counties:

  • Food service establishments
  • Tourist accommodations
  • Public swimming pools
  • Body art studios
  • Septic Installations
All public health services are currently operating normally, including WIC.

Effective January 1, 2026, Environmental Health will be enforcing the 2025 Georgia Food Code in facilities permitted prior to February 2025. Points may be debited on inspections for items not in compliance with the changes in the 2025 Food Code.
