PrEP for HIV Prevention

Get PrEPed to reduce your risk of acquiring HIV.

Just one pill a day.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis, called PrEP, is a daily pill that lowers your chances of acquiring HIV when used as prescribed.

The Health Department offers two types of PrEP, Truvada and Descovy.

PrEP services are available at Lawrenceville, Norcross, and Rockdale Health Centers and require an appointment.
